Thompson Stainers The unique, large conical screen element creates flow patterns that give the Thompson strainer a self-cleansing ability and that advantage of operating with a minimal pressure drop. As liquid flows through the stainer, debris is forced into the bottom reservoir for easy removal via the debris flush port. The reservoir can retain a large amout of debris without creating blockage of the screen or pressure drop. Flush port is available on the side or on bottom of the unit. Strainers are available in 2", 3", 4", 6", 8", and 10" inlet/outlet sizes. Standard screen sizes are 1/4" or 1/8" perforated holes, and 16 to 200 wire mesh. Other screen sizes available on special request. Specify screen size and flush port location when ordering.
