Construction constists of heavy cast iron pedestal, housing, impeller and wear plate. The solid stainless steel shaft is 1-7/8" diameter, 2-1/2" on XD series pump. The 4" x 3" pump, with a 9-3/4" diameter impeller turning at 1750 RPM, has capacities up to 1000 GPM. Standard seal is Teflon packing. Mechanical seals are standard on the XD extreme duty models.
